    AN INFLECTION POINT

    Evolved had built an amazing business that was at a typical inflection point for a scaling company — which direction to go next to either consolidate or push further. Having grown organically, they needed to put in place a strategy that would allow them to proactively find new business in areas where they didn't have as many connections.

    They were also wrestling with decisions around which sectors were right for them and how to structure the business to maximise these different areas — challenges that are common for fast-growing businesses but rarely come with a clear playbook.

    TWO STREAMS OF WORK

    We supported Evolved with two distinct but complementary streams of work, addressing both the strategic direction and the ongoing support the founder needed.

    Go-to-Market Strategy

    A project to identify their ideal customers and the direction for the go-to-market strategy, including wireframes for a new website to support the company structure. We set out the distinct parts of the business and enabled Evolved to create different divisions, giving their messaging a clear focus on the different audiences they were targeting.

    Board Advisory Role

    An ongoing board advisor role to support the founder in her quest to grow the business. We helped introduce a rigorous forecasting process now used to plan the whole business, and became critical partners whenever difficult decisions around team structure or company direction needed to be made — giving Kayleigh the support of a board, without the expensive costs of a traditional non-executive director.
